The Chord Company C-Power is a highly cost effective sound quality upgrade for your system. This mains cable works well on entry-level products and is equipped with high purity cabling and noise screening
The C-power power cable follows the same design principles as every other Chord cable and that means attention paid to shielding, conductors and termination.
Chord work with a UK company that specialises in military grade power cable terminations, so the C-power is fitted with a high quality over-moulded mains plug and an equally high quality IEC plug.
In this implementation the over-moulded plugs have certain advantages that Chord were keen to maximise. All the terminations are high pressure crimped (no screws to work loose) and the over-moulding process holds the conductors firmly in place and reduces mechanically induced noise.
The cable is a simple and straightforward upgrade to implement and indeed to hear. We suggest trying one on your source initially and then work through your system from there.
